PLACES – Workshop on Programming Language Approaches to Concurrency- and Communication-cEntric Software

The PLACES workshop is a forum for researchers from different fields to exchange new ideas about the challenges that concurrency and distribution bring to modern and future programming. The topics of interest cover many facets of concurrency, including theory, modelling, programming language design, verification, and case studies.

PLACES has been a satellite workshop of ETAPS since 2009, and is now well established as an ETAPS event.

Upcoming Edition: PLACES 2025

PLACES 2025 will be the 16th edition of the workshop, and will take place on 4 May 2025 in Hamilton, Canada, as a satellite event of ETAPS.
